Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the launch strategy and readiness process for CRC.
- Collaborate with Market Planning to monitor the competitive landscape and execute market research.
- Lead the creation of advisory board content and gather strategic insights, working closely with internal and external cross-functional teams.
- Develop the Congress engagement strategy and collaborate with Field-Based Marketers to engage key opinion leaders, gathering insights and evaluating strategic implications for the brand.
- Oversee the development of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) speaker bureau content to ensure alignment with brand strategy.
- Formulate the US marketing tactical plan, ensuring alignment with strategy and competitive landscape through collaboration with the agency of record (AOR). Manage the brand budget.
- Ensure the successful execution of engaging promotional tactics for US healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other stakeholders across various channels.
- Manage relationships with key vendors, including the promotional AOR.
- Partner with Sales Training to develop sales training content and ensure effective implementation at all meetings.
- Communicate key brand messages and materials effectively at Sales meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Travel up to 20% as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No current supervisory responsibilities. Potential for future supervisory roles depending on positive topline results.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s degree in a related discipline with 13 years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 15 years of relevant experience, or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with a focus on promotions and strategy.
- Oncology experience is required.
- Product launch experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in sales, sales management, and managed care is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to develop strategic concepts and articulate them to brand and cross-functional team members.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to build consensus and drive decisions.
- High learning agility, with a comprehensive understanding of marketplace factors affecting brand performance.
- Effective presentation and written communication skills.
- Ability to derive insights from market research, sales force feedback, and other sources to optimize messaging and promotional activities.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations related to pharmaceutical promotions and experience with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory review processes.
- Understanding of reimbursement mechanisms for injectable and specialty oral medications.
- Knowledge of the managed care environment, including pharmacy and medical benefit design.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong project management skills.
