The Financial Planner will guide clients through complex financial decisions by developing and executing tailored strategies to achieve their short- and long-term goals. This role requires deep expertise in investment planning and financial planning. Strong relationship-building skills, a focus on business development, and the ability to create comprehensive, personalized financial plans are essential to success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing tailored financial advice and ongoing support
• Conduct client consultations to assess financial situations and recommend personalized strategies
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial plans covering investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning
• Drive business development initiatives to grow the client base and identify new opportunities
• Stay up-to-date on financial products, market trends, and regulatory changes
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver holistic financial solutions
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in financial planning

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5-8 years of financial planning experience, with a focus on client-facing roles and business development
• Proficient in financial planning tools and software (CFP designation preferred)
• Series 65 or Series 7/66 required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draft and explain detailed financial plans
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
