Our client in Atlanta is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Accountant for a contract role. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting overall financial health of the organization.

• Performing tasks as a staff accountant with 2-3 years of experience..
• Managing heavy reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records.
• Preparing financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  

• Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and Vlookups, for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in GAAP
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
