Job Description

The HR Business Partner supports and partners with the Senior Director, HR and CHRO in the leadership of Human Resource practices. The HRBP is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with all departments to promote and support growth, development and success. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation and employment law compliance. Working in close partnership with Associates and Managers, the HRBP is accountable for utilizing superb project management, facilitation, and communication expertise to deliver relevant, effective talent solutions and produce results while fostering strong business partner relationships.


Responsibilities:

  • Advises and guides managers on employee relations issues in accordance with Company policy, best practice and statutory requirements. This includes direction on corrective actions, performance improvement process, and termination to ensure appropriate steps and consistency.
  • Provides direct coaching and consultation to key business partners and overall employee population to build and develop greater organizational capability.
  • Act as a resource to managers and employees on a wide variety of human resource topics and guide employees to people, tools, and resources.
  • Conducts Associate Relations investigations, analyzes organizational health issues, and works in partnership with the VP HR to develop and execute plans to address problem areas.
  • Performs new hire and exit interviews to assist managers with the on-boarding and separation processes and determine and make recommendations regarding improvement objectives.
  • Proactive in implementing new, systematic processes as it relates to Talent Management, Compensation Administration, Benefits Administration, Orientation/On-Boarding and Performance Management procedures and processes.
  • Lead various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Prepares and analyzes reports as needed, monitoring key activities, data and metrics.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to recruit and build best-in-class talent within the organization.
  • Drives initiatives aimed at creating, effectively managing, valuing, retaining, and leveraging a diverse workforce.
  • Encourages a high-performance culture that emphasizes excellence, productivity, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
  • Exhibits a strong customer-focused approach in order to build alliances with management.
  • Models and promotes organizational values.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • At least 3 years’ Generalist experience in Human Resources in a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of HR-related, and improved measurable results
  • Must have strong knowledge of HR practices including performance management, total Compensation, benefits management, employee relations, recruiting, change management, problem resolution, training and organizational development
  • Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach others, with appropriate self-confidence and presence
  • Excellent prioritization, time management, organizational and follow up skills.
  • Ability to maximize partnerships by successfully leveraging other departments as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability for process excellence and project management.
  • Excellent customer service skills including an ability to be empathetic when appropriate
  • Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
  • Strong computer skills primarily Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding and utilization of HR platforms
  • Flexible to work on-site at least 2 days a week.


Annual salary range $80,000-$90,000.
