The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a critical role in managing air and ocean import shipments for a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in handling international freight processes and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of air and ocean import operations , including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking.
• Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth cargo handling and timely deliveries.
• Prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
• Monitor shipment milestones, proactively addressing any delays or issues to meet client expectations.
• Work closely with customs brokers to ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Maintain accurate records in the company’s system and ensure timely invoicing.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in air and ocean import operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software; familiarity with CargoWise is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
