Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Exeter, NH

Shift: M-F; 7:30 – 4:30pm; Hybrid Schedule after first 6 months - 3 in office/ 2 remote

Compensation: $75k – $110k depending on experience

Position Description:

Seeking an electrical engineering graduate to join its consulting engineering team in the power generation industry. This position is for a highly motivated individual who is interested in working with and learning from experienced engineers in the office and in the field, while performing engineering tasks on industrial power distribution and generation projects. The successful candidate in this position will design Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution systems for Combined Heat & Power (CHP) plants, campus and/or district energy systems, and municipal scale power generation facilities. In this role, the successful candidate will also provide engineering support for utility interconnections and generator protection schemes. Typical tasks will include Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Studies, Coordination Studies, development of One Line Diagrams, Protection Schemes and Motor Control circuits for MV and LV circuits.

Requirements:

Candidates for this role must have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering. Candidates for this role should have 2-5 years’ experience in industrial power engineering or construction (compensated based off experience). Should have basic knowledge in motors, generators, transformers, NEC and cable sizing.
