Salary: $90K - $97K annually

Our client, a leader in engineering and site development, is looking for a skilled Site Development Engineer to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on private site development projects while collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead private site development projects, including design and engineering
• Conduct ordinance reviews and create site layouts and erosion control plans
• Design roadways and utility systems for residential, commercial, and industrial developments
• Prepare construction documents and handle permit applications
• Work closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure success
• Mentor junior engineers and present projects to municipalities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Michigan or eligibility for reciprocity
• Five to fifteen years of experience in site development within a consulting environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (stormwater modeling experience is a plus)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
