We are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive (direct hire) on behalf of a cutting-edge company within the defense-tech and robotics sectors. The client specializes in providing advanced wireless networking solutions designed to support a connected ecosystem for unmanned systems.
About the Role:
As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of the company/client by closing new business and winning successful design-ins with customers in the defense-tech and robotics sectors. You’ll be the face of the company, guiding customers through the sales process and collaborating with internal teams to secure integrations of our technology into groundbreaking unmanned systems. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on managing high-priority sales opportunities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Qualify and Close Deals : Manage inbound opportunities, qualify leads, and guide prospects through a structured sales process to secure design-in wins and successful integrations.
- Lead Outbound Efforts : Identify and pursue high-value target accounts, conducting outbound sales to expand the company’s customer base.
- Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with Sales Engineers and technical teams to address customer needs and ensure smooth handoffs during the evaluation phase.
- Customer Engagement : Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, articulating the value proposition of the company’s radios and navigating complex sales cycles.
- Strategic Focus : Prioritize opportunities with the highest potential impact and provide white-glove support to win these accounts.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years’ experience in Sales, preferably sales of Unmanned Systems, Radios, Radio Solutions, and/or Drones
- A proven track record of closing business and achieving ambitious sales targets in a technical field.
- Track record of successful sales of drones, and/or radio solutions.
- Knowledge of Unmanned Systems
- Experience in RF Engineering
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technology solutions, particularly in hardware and software integrations.
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in overcoming obstacles and managing customer expectations.
- Self-starter with the drive to juggle multiple high-priority opportunities and consistently deliver results.
- U.S. Citizen due to U.S. government contract requirements.
