Title: Foster Care Supervisor/Program Supervisor

Duration: Full Time Permanent

Salary Range : 60K to 65K annual Base

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work : Full time, 40 hours per week, M-F, 9:00am-5:00pm

Summary/Objective

Responsible for the effective delivery of Case Management Services through the support of and consultation to Case Managers and Foster Parents; is liaison with funding sources and community resources; assists in program development.

Essential Functions

• Provide supervision to assigned Case Managers. Coordinate all services to meet the on-going and emergent needs of assigned clients through the assigned Case Managers.
• Responsible for staff training and orientation.
• Monitor record keeping of Case Managers in compliance with EEC and other State Agency regulations such as; individual treatment plans, all intake documents, monthly reports, etc.
• Monitor weekly census reports to ensure contract utilization and billing accuracy.
• Meet as needed with the Director of Foster Care Services to discuss relevant clinical issues of assigned cases.
• Facilitate weekly Case Management Team meetings.
• Provide effective Foster Parent training.
• Attend weekly Foster Care (FC) Leadership Team meetings.
• Develop, in conjunction with, and as a member of, the FC Leadership Team, policies and procedures.
• Develop, in conjunction with FC Leadership Team, reporting and data collection systems.
• Provide after-hours on-call support on a regular, rotating basis, as part of the emergency on-call system.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses, including but not limited to CPR, First Aid.
• Attend DCF area office quarterly reviews.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor

Required Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• Three years supervisor experience.
• Five years clinical experience

Preferred Education and Experience

?Experience working with at risk populations.

?Knowledgeable in mental health and human development.
