Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Benefits Manager for our client in Dallas, TX. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s benefits programs. The position combines strategic planning, direct employee support, and extensive reporting to ensure seamless execution of benefits-related functions. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, a polished presentation, and a passion for delivering exceptional employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: Manage and optimize health, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement plans.
- Rewards and Recognitions: Oversee the Rewards and Recognitions program, including logins, points tracking, and reporting.
- Reporting: Dedicate approximately 50% of the role to generating and analyzing benefits reports. Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas) is essential.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with third-party vendors for open enrollment and ongoing benefits support.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and stay informed of benefits trends and market changes.
- Communication: Provide exceptional customer service by proactively reaching out to employees and addressing physician group needs with care and professionalism.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to drive strategic benefits solutions and support the company’s growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of HR experience with a focus on benefits management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paycom preferred) and strong expertise in MS Excel for reporting purposes.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished presentation and executive presence.
