Job Responsibilities

• Process requests for quotations.
• Obtain information given from customer service and sales to build quotes based on data provided.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss or formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Update existing quotes based on changes made or time, such as price increases.
• Design products by using dimensions provided by customer service and sales team.
• May be responsible for outsourcing quotes such as freight or board that isn't provided from normal suppliers to assure the right costs are being built.
• File quotes so numbers are aligned.
• Design spreadsheets to distribute information and to better configure calculations.
• Oversee quotations and distribution of work by other estimators.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with pricing, analyzing reports, forecasting, or estimating.
• Strong proficiency with computers and applications.
• Understand all processes of manufacturing
• Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing time.
• Ability to work well with others to lead and distribute tasks within communicating effectively.
• Strong willingness to work with people and comfortably deal with internal customers.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and personal organization skills.
