We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate of $25-35/hr. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Review and analyze supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
