excellent opportunity for an ambitious pharmacist looking to take our multi-dose, adherence packaging pharmacy specializing in long term care at home to the next level. We are recruiting a pharmacist willing to work our night shift, perform prescription and order verification and also have the ambition and the skills required to develop and provide leadership to a team of technicians expanding our operations to a 3rd shift. This is a developmental role with future leadership potential in that the individual successful in this role will have demonstrated the ability to build and sustain a successful team. The willingness to learn and provide technical assistance to our technicians for the multi-dose packaging and image recognition, quality systems is also targeted for this role. Past leadership development, being a high potential team member in your current role with a clear affability with colleagues are desired characteristics.
All pharmacist positions are expected to deliver on quality standards that allow us to ensure proper medication profiles are managed, reviewed and verified. Additionally, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the proper dispensing of all medications filled to ensure the correct and safe supply of medications are delivered to each patient. They will own the pharmacist verification process of the Exact Packs and medication additions going out to patient homes. The Pharmacist is responsible for adhering to company policies and procedures and expected to help build team capabilities through leadership skills and follow up.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring clinical accuracy and execution of patient prescriptions
- Verification of hard copy and digital Rx’s
- Communication with healthcare professionals and making sure that the Dr. call line is answered
- Supervision and execution of incoming and outgoing prescription transfers
- Ensure all legal, privacy and compliance requirements are met
- Other duties as appropriate

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Active state of Texas Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience with pharmacist verification work
- Clinical Judgement Expertise
- Prior interface with OutcomesMTM and Mirixa, a plus
- Ability to work third shift
- Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with multiple partners
