Role: Datacenter Technician I

Client: Global technology retailer - Data Center environment.

Duration: 6- month initial contract with the potential of extension/conversion.

Location: 100% ON-SITE in Dublin, OH

Pay rate: $21-23/hr, depending on relevant experience.

Schedule: 12 hour shifts- 6:30am to 6:30pm for day-shift and 6:30pm to 6:30am for night-shift

• 40 hours per week w/ potential for overtime
• Shift schedule will be either front half or back half shifts - both are available.
• Likely to be alternating 3 days on 4 days off then 4 days on 3 days off.

Responsibilities:

• Break-fix work/swapping hardware components
• Troubleshooting connections
• Email and personnel requests for technical support
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution
• Schedule maintenance
• Responding to customer outages and capacity issues

Required Skills:

• Hands-on technical experience
• Hardware troubleshooting
• Hardware networking
• Linux - basic commands.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs

Preferred Skills:

• A+ Certification
• Datacenter experience
• Isolation testing experience - Testing individual hardware components.
• Cabling.
