Regal Professional Services has partnered with a leading provider for industrial automation solutions for the Oil and Gas industry to hire an Solutions Engineer for their corporate HQ in Lewisville, Texas.


Summary

An account management position primarily focused on the Final Control product and service portfolio, centered around Emerson Process Management’s Fisher, Bettis, Vanessa, Keystone, KTM, EIM, Anderson Greenwood / Crosby and many other related product lines. This position will service North Texas and report up through the Lewisville, Texas office with sales efforts at regional offices and end user sites.

This position will interface with multiple industries, including oil & gas upstream and midstream, power generation, chemical and more.


Responsibilities

  • Primary customer interface to discuss the company's products and services
  • Provides technical and product support to customers
  • Develops new accounts and helps to grow existing accounts
  • Assess market opportunities and trends to remain focused toward the highest growth/revenue opportunities and/or strategic future business
  • Develops and implements strategic activities/solution selling to meet company and customer business objectives
  • Leads project pursuit utilizing processes and communications with other team members
  • Assists customers in the development of automation requirements with associated benefits and risks
  • Interfaces with Inside Sales Individuals and Manufacturers in the development and proposal of Vinson quotations
  • Engages customers to finalize sale and ascertain that products are delivered on-time and to customer requirements
  • Prepare and communicate sales plans, advancements, and results to Company and Vendor management


Qualifications

  • Four year engineering degree from an accredited college/university
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in chemical, refining, and/or oil & gas industries
  • At least 3-5 years sales experience, including dealing with complex selling situations (such as corporate accounts, long sales cycles, multiple decision makers)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and shall be comfortable with public speaking/presentations
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience selling control valves, automated isolation valves, pressure relief valves and repair services
  • Ability to remain effective when dealing with multiple concurrent issues and/or with ambiguous situations
  • Strong computer skills and ability to thrive with new technology
  • Ability to work as a member of a team with other account managers during the development of business and with business development managers to help advance their goals


Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel at least 75% of a work day in a car.
  • Overnight travel of approximately 25% is estimated for this position, mostly by auto.
