Job Description:

The Substation Projects Engineering department seeks a dedicated, dynamic, and innovative individual to join as estimator to support the Station Projects Manhattan/SI section. The selected estimator will be working on transmission and distribution construction projects in Client.

Flex Skills:

The individual must have prior experience in developing electrical, mechanical and or civil cost estimates for substations and/or transmission projects.

The candidate must be familiar with the engineering, design, and construction of substations and transmission facilities.

An understanding of the capital budget process and utility economics in the preparation of authorization and appropriation estimates is preferred

Computer proficiency is required including knowledge of Microsoft Project/Office and estimating computer applications and databases.

Familiarity with local, state, national, and industry codes and standards is preferred.
