?About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team, where you will play a key role in owning the delivery of the best high-power residential grid-tied inverters. ?Key Responsibilities:
- Own the delivery of the highest quality mechanical design for residential grid-tied inverters.
- Lead the mechanical design of some components and review the designs of others to ensure overall system performance.
- Drive solutions to design challenges, serving as the glue that connects various design disciplines and ensuring cohesive, high-quality outcomes.
?Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in owning mechanical design for grid-tied inverters or similar power converters.
- Expertise in thermal fundamentals, including thermal modeling (1D, transient/steady state, FEA/CFD).
- Proven experience designing mechanical components for power electronics, such as magnetics, capacitor banks, and related systems.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in designing heat transfer strategies of various types to ensure optimal system performance.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams in an innovative environment.
- Proficiency in relevant design and simulation software tools (such as CAD, FEA/CFD software).
