Client located in Greenwood Village, Colorado is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join their team for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to manage multiple projects, be self-driven, and have experience in commercial construction.
Duties
- Assisting in the planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with federal lease specifications and quality standards.
- Conducting regular site visits to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with lease/regulatory requirements.
- Organizing, developing and reviewing reports, submittals, requests for information (RFIs), invoices, contracts, and other financial files for easy access, ensuring that all project-related materials are current, properly filed and stored.
Skills and qualifications
- Excellent project coordination skills, including effective planning, organizing and prioritizing, as well as strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in construction project management and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of risk and issue management and budget management principles.
- Experience in project coordination in large-scale construction projects.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations, permits, and approval processes.
