LHH is actively seeking a Environmental, Health, Safety Specialist for a manufacturing company in the Elk Grove Village area. This is a great opportunity with a fast growing, international company. This is an onsite opportunity.

The primary responsibilities for this role include

• Promoting a safety first culture
• Ensure complaince with OSHA and EPA regulations and standards
• Lean accident and incident investigation
• Identify, create and implement new programs, policies and standards
• Create and deliver training programs
• Maintain departmental database and required reporting
• Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to ensure a safe work environment
• Additional duties as needed

The ideal candidate profile will have the following qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE related fields or specialized training/experience in HSE
• Excellent communication skills
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• OSHA 40 certified
• Proficient in Lean/Six Sigman/CI methodologies
• Experience with QMS/ERP/KPA
• High level of detail
• Well versed in OSHA and EPA regulations and standards
