We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our partner's full-time team in the Rockford, IL area.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity and is On Site

*POSITION SUMMARY: *
* *Performs nuclear medicine procedures and patient care services*
* *Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.*
* *Utilizes ALARA principles during examinations.*
* *Implements radiation protection and safety standards.*
* *Prepares and administers radioactive material and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.*



*EDUCATION/TRAINING: *

*Minimum: *
* *Completion of accredited school of nuclear medicine technology*

*Preferred:*
* *Experience as a hospital nuclear medicine technologist*



*\*\*Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained\*\**

*LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: *

*Minimum: *
* *Certification by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or current NMTCB certification. *
* *Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). *
* *CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.*



*EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES*:

*Minimum: Previous healthcare experience*

*Preferred: Two years of clinical experience*

Pay: $28.17 - $42.25 per hour
