*This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY*

*Key Responsibilities for the Vascular Access Specialist:*
* Placement of vascular access devices within the clinic setting as well as starting peripheral lines and drawing blood on difficult patients
* Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to determine the most appropriate candidates for Midline and Peripheral IV insertions using ultrasound

Provide clinical staff with education relative to care and maintenance of the Midlines and Peripheral IVs.

*Key Requirements for the Vascular Access Specialist*
* At least 3+ years clinical experience in an acute care nursing setting
* At least 3+ years required vascular access experience
* Completed all needed competencies in PICC, Power Glide and USGPIV placements
* Skill in use of ultrasound guided peripheral IV insertion
* Skill in midline placement and maintenance of a sterile field
* Completed competency in 3cg tip confirmation
* Current BCLS certification from American Heart Association

*Compensation and Schedule for the Vascular Access Specialist:*
* Target hourly rate starting around $48 an hour
* Monday-Friday Schedule, Day Shift
