*Shift Schedule:* 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (No holiday coverage required)

*Job Summary:*

The Facility is seeking a skilled *Nuclear Medicine Technologist* to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures, including radiopharmaceutical administration, imaging studies, and patient care. This role also involves operational responsibilities, equipment troubleshooting, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory standards.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform technical and operational procedures related to Nuclear Medicine, including imaging studies and patient injections.
* Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately following established protocols.
* Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality imaging studies for diagnostic purposes.
* Assist with training and mentoring of other staff members in Nuclear Medicine procedures.
* Troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure proper functionality.
* Maintain compliance with all regulatory agency requirements concerning Nuclear Medicine.
* Manage inventory control, including tracking and ordering radiopharmaceuticals and related supplies.
* Schedule and coordinate patient imaging appointments efficiently.
* Rotate to off-site imaging locations as needed.
* Perform phlebotomy procedures as required.
* Provide compassionate and effective patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

*Qualifications:*
* *Education:*
* Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology and NMTCB-approved School of Nuclear Medicine.
* *Licensure:*
* Active State of Maine Radiologic Technologist license.
* National registration with *ARRT (Nuclear Medicine)*.
* *Certifications:*
* *BLS (Basic Life Support)* certification.
* Must fulfill mandatory CEU requirements.
* *Experience:*
* Minimum of *3 years of experience* as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (preferred).
* *Skills:*
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to rotate to off-site locations as needed.

*Additional Information:*
* Up to 16 hours of orientation will be *paid*.
* The Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
* Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
* Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.

Pay: $3,262.00 - $3,934.00 per week
