Compensation: $125,000-135,000
Description:
Constellation Search Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple commercial or federal construction projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, owners, and general contractors to maintain strong relationships and ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Project Management : Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of 3-5 commercial construction projects at any given time.
Client and Stakeholder Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
Budget & Schedule Management : Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination : Negotiate contracts, manage subcontractors, and coordinate the procurement of materials and services. Monitor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Quality Control : Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise.
Reporting : Provide regular project status updates, including financials, timelines, and any issues or risks, to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Team Leadership : Lead and mentor project teams, including junior project managers and other staff, to ensure efficient project execution and professional development.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial or federal construction project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project management software (e.g., NetSuite or Centerpoint Connect).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex commercial construction projects.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems and think strategically under pressure.
