Job Description

Job Title: Graphic Designer I

Location: Remote, MI

Contract Duration: until 12/31/2025


Job Overview:

As a Graphic Designer, you will take ownership of assigned subject areas and product lines, ensuring a deep understanding of customer challenges and creating unique and engaging visual solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to inform and enhance visual strategies for assigned audiences and channels and consistently provide creative recommendations that adhere to brand standards and optimize campaign performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce high-quality digital, print, and multimedia assets, including static and HTML5 ads, email templates, social media posts, infographics, and more.
  • Own the visual development of assigned projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform and influence visual strategies, incorporating insights from performance results, customer data, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance the design of marketing materials, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence across all channels.
  • Apply a strong understanding of graphic design principles, including typography, color theory, and composition to deliver visually appealing and functional designs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target audience and customer pain points, tailoring designs to resonate with and engage diverse groups.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative solutions and out-of-the-box thinking to solve design challenges.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CAD platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and design principles.
  • Experience in web design, content development, and email coding.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional creative thinking, with a focus on storytelling through design.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and business functions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your ability to create engaging and innovative designs across multiple platforms is required.


Additional Skills and Experience (Preferred):

  • Prior experience working on large-scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Familiarity with performance-driven design and the ability to optimize creative assets for user engagement and conversion.
