Electrical Engineer
Location: Peoria, IL
Duration: 12+ months (with a possibility to extend)
Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr.
Typical task breakdown:
- Hybrid position but will need to report onsite at least three days per week from start of assignment.
- Could move to fully onsite based on business needs.
- Typical day will be working on diagnostic projects within the five-person team.
- Project work consists of research, electrical knowledge application and interactions with customers and the team.
Education & Experience Required:
- Experience in electrical engineering (2-4 years)
- Electrical troubleshooting experience on various circuits and components.
- Experience installing/working with harnesses on various applications (knows best practices).
- Testing of various components.
- Degree is a requirement : Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Will consider master’s or above applicable project/internship experience toward requirement but durations must be listed on resumes.
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Must understand electrical systems, electronics, and communications specifically between electrical devises.
- Ability to understand complex wiring circuits for test equipment and machines.
- Ability to read prints and understand requirements needed to produce parts.
- Ability to create databases with parameters needed for transmissions.
