IT Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage our company's technology infrastructure and IT operations. The IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and efficiency of all IT systems, networks, and hardware. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of IT professionals, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and drive technological improvements within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT systems, including networks, servers, and cloud services.
• Supervise and mentor a team of IT specialists, technicians, and system administrators, ensuring the efficient delivery of IT support and services.
• Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard company data and protect against cyber threats. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity for employees.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of IT products and services.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to assess IT needs and develop long-term technology strategies aligned with business goals.
• Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality services.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Ensure employees have the necessary training and support to effectively use IT tools and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in IT management or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, software, cybersecurity practices, and cloud-based solutions.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage an IT team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, or similar certifications are a plus.
