Job Overview:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for utilizing technical and industry knowledge to accelerate analytic insights and new feature enhancements to Pareto Intelligence’s risk adjustment solution suite. Additionally, the ability to understand / contribute to business requirements and documentation standards, supply critical thinking to deliverables, apply business acumen to findings, and operate in a team environment to accomplish desired deliverables will be vital to success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and build extract-transform-load (ETL) workflow in SQL, Python and/or Pyspark to build datasets that will be used to develop analytic insights & methodologies to be incorporated into publication-ready visualizations using diverse sets of structured and unstructured data
- Provides data analysis and model development support for the deployment of Pareto’s software solutions
- Reasons independently to synthesize raw data into digestible and actionable information
- Utilize technical skillset to address market-driven business questions for empowering key stakeholders to improve government programs risk adjustment performance.
- Collaborates with product management, client advisory, data science and operations on product visualizations, enhancements and debugging issues
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of Strong SQL querying experience both creating and updating ETL workflows and stored procedures
- 5+ years of experience with analytics, database, or business intelligence in the healthcare field
- 3+ years of data visualization experience using Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with CMS Risk Adjustment process, Healthcare Payer and/or Provider experience with claims, clinical and or quality data is strongly preferred
- Experience with Python (i.e. Jupyter), Pyspark and Big Data Technologies such as AWS is nice to have.
- Exposure to statistical software such as SAS or R
- Strong analytical aptitude and an understanding of statistical methods
- Desire to improve and expand analytical and data visualization skills with new technology
