Job Title: VP of Engineering
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)
Compensation: $170k–$220k + 1.0%–2.5% equity

They are looking for a VP of Engineering to lead and scale their technical team, driving the development of cutting-edge solutions for the nation’s top real estate brokerages.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React with TypeScript, MaterialUI, Ant Design.
- Backend: Node.js, Express, MongoDB.
- Data Science: Python.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, and mentoring.
- Define and execute the technology roadmap, aligning it with business goals.
- Drive collaboration across product, design, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of all systems and platforms.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Expertise in full-stack development and modern software architecture.
- Hands-on experience with the stated tech stack (React, Node.js, MongoDB, Python).
- Proven track record of scaling engineering teams and delivering high-quality products.
- Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.

- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
