Schedule : Full-time, Days (No Weekends)

Overview :

We are seeking a Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to oversee the clinical, technical, and operational functions within the Imaging Department. This role involves ensuring compliance with patient care quality standards, maintaining efficient departmental operations, and providing leadership to staff. The position supports a comprehensive array of radiology services and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Imaging Department, ensuring efficient resource utilization and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Monitor performance improvement activities and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
  • Supervise and ensure the competency of all department personnel, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Imaging Services on budgeting, policy development, and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state, federal, and Corporate Radiation Right standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including hospital staff, patients, and external partners.
  • Support advanced imaging modalities, including x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and vascular intervention services.
  • Focus on specialized services such as comprehensive stroke imaging, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and surgical oncology imaging support.


Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technologist and at least 3 years in a supervisory role within an acute care setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
  • Certification in ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.
  • Strong knowledge of Hospital and Radiology Information Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex operations with minimal supervision.


Additional Information :

  • Reports to the Director of Imaging Services.
  • Supervises a team of 11 staff members.
  • Focus on innovative imaging services, including a unique CV MRI program and comprehensive vascular imaging.
  • Contributes to the growth of cardiac CT imaging and supports surgical oncology, spine, and orthopedic services.
