Role Responsibilities:(what they will be doing)
Supports the team by implementing organizational change management (OCM) strategies and providing analysis and insights to potential teammate impacts. Works closely with leadership, project teams, and various stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
• Apply a structured methodology and lead/support change management activities.
• Leverage a change management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project.
• Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications.
• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
• Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
Additional responsibilities:
• Complete change management assessments
• Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
• Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance
• Consult and coach project teams
• Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Communications Plan, Training Plan, etc.
• Support and engage senior leaders
• Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
• Coordinate efforts with other specialists
• Evaluate and ensure teammate readiness
• Track and report issues
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences:(Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)
In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, change management, project management, finance, risk management, etc.).
Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines. Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts. Experience managing small projects.
Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders. A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)
In-depth knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Experience with project management and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Certification in change management methodology (e.g., Prosci Change Management Certification) or in change management best practices (not methodology specific) is highly desirable.
