We are actively recruiting a Transportation Engineer to join ATMP Program at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). This is a full-time role with a mandatory minimum of 3 days per week in the project office. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Professional Engineer (PE) license . They should also have prior experience with all aspects of roadway engineering design and be proficient in Bentley ConceptStation, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Infraworks, and Civil3D .
Job Duties:
- Serve in a technical role under the direction of a Project Manager, supporting the engineering development of roadway and infrastructure projects.
- Schedule, chair, and develop meeting minutes for ATMP landside shareholders .
- Lead CAD design efforts , overseeing the work of CAD Designers and creating base mapping CAD files through record searches.
- Map existing utility constraints and recommend relocation plans for utilities.
- Prepare concept-level roadway designs , including widening, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, paths, drainage, bus stops, and ADA-compliant features.
- Conduct site feasibility analysis through to the final design and construction phases.
- Evaluate sequential phasing and coordinate with ongoing and future projects .
- Prepare quantity estimates and ROM cost estimates to ensure accurate project planning.
Salary Range:
$160,000 - $180,000
