About the Role:
As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, customer service teams, and end-users to craft and enhance high-quality documentation. You will play a key role in articulating new products and features, shaping the content landscape for tools and platforms that have a meaningful impact on users worldwide. In addition to developing content, you will contribute to creating code snippets and user guides that help customers unlock the full potential of the product. With a growing user base, your work will often serve as the first point of contact for many new users, shaping their overall experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine product documentation, including help content, technical guides, and user manuals, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
- Work closely with subject matter experts and project leads to translate complex product information into clear, practical, and user-friendly content.
- Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to document new features and updates for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Create and maintain concise, accessible, and engaging documentation that enhances the overall user experience.
- Produce and update code snippets and guides to support users in utilizing product features effectively.
- Ensure all documentation stays current, reflecting the latest product developments and features.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical writing, ideally within the software or technology sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn and explain complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown, Microsoft Office, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar software.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation platforms (e.g., Notion) is a plus.
- Self-motivated and capable of working effectively in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Experience or interest in industries such as risk management, artificial intelligence, or financial technology is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
