An Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive women's health services, including primary care, case history preparation, and on-call participation. The role involves performing office procedures, maintaining medical records, and prescribing necessary treatments. This position requires a medical doctor with board certification in OB/GYN and the ability to travel across multiple locations in Newark, NJ.

Job Overview OBGYN Physician:
Join our client's healthcare team in Newark, NJ, as an OBGYN Physician. This role involves providing comprehensive women s health services according to ACOG guidelines and company policies. The position requires flexibility with travel across multiple locations.

Compensation: $180,000 - $250,000/year
Location: Newark, NJ (Must Travel to Multiple Locations)
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and every other Saturday


Responsibilities as the OBGYN Physician:
  • Primary Care: Provide primary care and women s health services.
  • Case Histories: Prepare and review case histories, obtaining data through patient interviews.
  • On-Call Participation: Participate in the provider on-call schedule.
  • Office Procedures: Perform office-based procedures and educate patients on their importance.
  • Medical Records: Maintain accurate and legible medical records in compliance with company policies.
  • Medication and Therapy: Prescribe medications and therapies for treatment and preventative care.
  • Policy Development: Assist in developing department policies and procedures.
  • Invoice Collection: Collect in-patient invoices and submit them to the CMO s office timely.
  • Meetings and Initiatives: Participate in department and clinical services meetings, health initiatives, and collaboratives.
Qualifications for the OBGYN Physician:
  • Education: Medical Doctor/Doctor of Osteopathy with a valid NJ license to practice medicine (NJ CDS, federal DEA, and NPI).
  • Certification: Board Eligible/Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Knowledge: Considerable knowledge of state and federal public health laws related to medicine.
