Job Requirements
- BLS certification required
- Prefer surgical experience, post-op, and early ambulation experience
- No requirement to titrate drips
- Charge Nurse on each shift, occasionally takes a low acuity assignment
- Experience with heparin drip, PCA pump, TPN preferred
Schedule Information
- 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 shifts
- Manager to make schedule; self-scheduling and block scheduling considered if unit needs are met
- Weekend requirement: every other
- Holiday requirement: as needed
- Floating to medical and telemetry units may be required
Additional Details
- Close knit and good culture on the unit
- Bedside shift report is an expectation
- RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
- Additional RTO will not be approved after submissions
