Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will answer and direct calls, distribute mail, and perform other duties.
Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Open and close visitor areas.
- Meet and greet employees and vendors daily.
- Professionally administer all incoming calls and ensure phone calls are redirected accordingly.
- Accept incoming deliveries from vendors and delivery services.
- Maintain weekly sign-in sheet and conference room calendars.
- Collect and ensure the mail is scanned and distributed via email daily.
- Distribute and send FedEx and UPS parcels promptly.
- Normal working hours are 11:30 am - 4:30 pm CST, but could vary based on need.
OTHER DUTIES: - Assist with employee appreciation events, including organizing monthly celebrations for employees and significant service award ceremonies.
- Provide support to the Human Resources department and other departments as needed.
- Assist with general mailouts.
- Bind reports and books and assist in preparing materials for presentations.
- Tidy and keep the reception area clean.
- Liaise with building maintenance to rectify any building issues.
- Set up conference calls.
- Perform miscellaneous clerical work along with scanning and photocopying of documents.
- Assist with catering requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - Excellent phone etiquette
- Punctual
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people
- Ability to work collectively with the administrative team associates
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to handle all administrative/clerical-related work accurately
- Responsible for special projects, as needed

- Enthusiasm to learn and use new software
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of experience.
