Job Requirements BLS certification required Prefer surgical experience and post-op early ambulation experience Must be okay with first-time travelers Schedule Information 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 shifts Manager to make schedule; self-scheduling and block scheduling considered if unit needs are met Weekend requirement: every other Holiday requirement: as needed Floating to medical and telemetry units may be required Unit Specific Information Charge Nurse on each shift; may take a low acuity assignment occasionally Nurse aids/patient care techs on the unit with a ratio of 1:12 Remote tele packs and monitor techs available on the unit RNs do not read their own strips Additional Details Close knit and good culture on the unit Bedside shift report is an expectation RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract) Additional RTO will not be approved after submissions
