Manager, Syndication
Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid)
6-Month W2 Assignment with potential to extend or convert)
Pay: $40-47/HR
On behalf of our client, a global leader in content creation, distribution, and syndication, we are looking for a Manager, Syndication, to join our team. This will support the Syndication team in a dynamic 6-month project where you will play a pivotal role.
Position Summary:
The Manager, Syndication is responsible for managing the distribution of content for broadcast television syndication and other digital channels. This role ensures the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations by collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients. The Manager will oversee a team, ensure the delivery of video, audio, and other materials, and continuously improve servicing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Servicing and Operations:
- Lead the distribution of broadcast schedules, satellite notices, commercial codes, and other deliverables to television stations.
- Oversee material deliveries, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for department and client escalations.
- Analyze client requests and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor client satisfaction and recommend process improvements.
Vendor and Internal Communication:
- Communicate with third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve material delivery issues.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations and enforce performance standards.
- Assist Account Managers in prioritizing work orders and managing delivery timelines.
Operational Oversight and Standardization:
- Analyze quality metrics and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to define, standardize, and operationalize procedures.
- Support operational transformation and provide coverage for the Sr. Manager as needed.
Special Projects:
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives such as client information sessions, team building, and staff development programs.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- 6+ years of syndication distribution experience.
Technical Knowledge:
- Expertise in material distribution for international TV markets.
- Familiarity with video/audio digital materials and tape formats.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
