Job Description

Lighthouse Rooftop, a bustling restaurant located in Long Island City, Queens, is currently hiring experienced Restaurant Managers. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in hospitality to oversee daily operations.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate daily operations of both Front of the House and Back of the House

- Ensure superior service delivery and maximize customer satisfaction

- Handle customer complaints efficiently and accurately

- Regularly assess product quality and explore new vendor options

- Organize and supervise shifts effectively

- Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback

- Forecast future needs for supplies and kitchen equipment

- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

- Uphold and enhance the restaurant’s reputation

- Manage operational costs and implement measures to reduce waste

- Generate detailed reports on revenues and expenses periodically

- Recommend strategies to expand customer base (e.g., discounts, social media campaigns)

- Train new and existing staff on exceptional guest service standards

- Implement policies and procedures to maintain smooth operations

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role

- Demonstrated customer service experience in a managerial capacity

- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverages, with the ability to advise guests and staff on menu items

- Familiarity with restaurant management software such as Toast, Tripleseat, and Resy

- Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in financial management
