Construction Estimator

Great Lakes Crushing , is a heavy site development and general contractor established in 1996. We currently handle a wide range of construction projects in the Northeast Ohio area. We are currently seeking a full-time Construction Estimator in Wilowick, Ohio .

In this role, you will be responsible for compiling complete estimates for specific projects assigned.

Pay: $60,000-$125,000/year depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documents.
• Prioritize and organize deadlines for bids.
• Review plans and specifications, requesting additional information as needed.
• Review and qualify submitted proposals.
• Set-up and attend pre-bid walk-throughs.
• Complete bid form.
• Contact and communicate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist with additional projects, duties, and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Degree with Construction Experience.
• Three (3) years of experience estimating competitive bid projects.
• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry with familiarity of building codes, laws and regulations.
• Solid understanding of financial practices, accounting policies and computer related programs.
