Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team and contribute to the production of high-precision components used in our aerospace systems. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming CNC and manual machines, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and program CNC milling machines and lathes to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Utilize manual machining equipment for specialized or prototype work.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with tolerances and quality standards.
• Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize manufacturing processes and improve part designs for manufacturability.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a machinist, with a focus on CNC programming and operation.
• Proficiency in G-code programming and working with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam or similar).
• Experience with manual machining tools (mills, lathes, grinders) is a plus.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials and machining techniques is desirable.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
