Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Fortinet technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a Fortinet Certified Professional and possess a strong background in managing Fortigates and Cisco ASAs. Experience with Palo Alto networks is a significant plus. This role requires a commitment to travel between New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions using Fortinet and Cisco technologies.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Fortigates and Cisco ASAs to ensure optimal network performance and security.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on network infrastructure projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their network requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest network security trends and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications: - Fortinet Certified Professional (e.g., NSE 4, NSE 5, or higher).
- Proven experience with Fortigates and Cisco ASAs.
- Experience with Palo Alto networks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of FortiZTNA and FortiSASE technologies.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, SDWAN, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with no restrictions and possess reliable transportation
