This is a hybrid position. When onsite this position will work from our offices in South Burlington, VT.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Network Manager of Grants Management is responsible for the oversight, reporting, and compliance monitoring of a large portfolio of grants, contracts, contributions, endowments, and board designated and special purpose funds across the UVM Health Network. Reporting includes both internal compliance reporting as well as external regulatory reporting, including but not limited to the UVM Health Network Uniform Guidance reporting, required of all UVM Health Network hospitals for federal, state, and local compliance. The Network Manager of Grants Management works directly with Principal Investigators, Health Care Service Directors, the Development Office, and applicable staff on policy and procedure development for the monitoring of grants. The Network Manager of Grants Management will also work with each affiliate controller, or their designee, regarding the annual Uniform Guidance audit and serves as the consolidator of information for Network reporting. Primary duties include budgetary oversight and monitoring, generation and review of reports, and other daily administrative and operational duties, including coordination of accounting a nd reporting, in collaboration with the Network Accounting Departments, as well as various tax schedules that support the annual Form 990 filings.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree with 10+ years of job related experience may be substituted for Bachelor's.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years of grants administration and finance experience.
