Title: School Nurse Location: Juan Pablo Duarte - Jose Julian Marti City: Elizabeth, NJ Address: 25 1st St, Elizabeth, NJ 07206, United States Shift Timings: 8:15A - 3pm (M-F) Duration: 3-6 months Job Description: Required qualifications/skills Must hold a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or higher working specifically with Missouri school districts with various student population counts and regional settings, on a multi-disciplinary level. Must have 10+ years of experience working as a school nurse with a majority of those years being served within the state of Missouri. Special preference given to those employed as a school nurse for 1+ years during the COVID-19 pandemic. Preferred qualifications/skills Experience working in Missouri's various rural and metropolitan counties and regions Comprehensive knowledge on Missouri's K-12 school hierarchy Understanding of the varying roles, responsibilities, limitations, and classifications of school nurses, social workers, and counselors employed in Missouri schools Comprehensive knowledge of the scope and standards of school nursing practice as it pertains to Missouri law and statutes. Experience with the assessment and review of school health office practices.
