A law firm seeks an experienced and highly motivated Employment Law Attorney to join its team in Encino, California. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established firm, providing expert counsel to employers on a wide range of employment-related issues. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience in managing daily employment law matters and will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Duties:Provide legal guidance to employers on various employment issues, including hiring, firing, wage and hour matters, harassment, discrimination, employee handbooks, employment agreements, and leave of absence policies.Counsel clients on compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.Draft and review employment policies, contracts, and handbooks to ensure legal compliance and minimize risk.Represent clients in employment-related disputes, including investigations and resolutions.Maintain a strong client relationship and ensure timely and effective communication.Manage a high volume of client matters with a commitment to excellence and efficiency.Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a smooth and effective workflow.Handle complex legal issues while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law, specifically advising and representing employers.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism.Ability to work independently while also being a team player.Strong networking and marketing skills, with the potential for business development.Must be in good standing with the California State Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Strong academic record.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar (Required).Skills:Expertise in employment law, including daily employee issues, wage and hour matters, harassment, discrimination, and employment agreements.Strong legal writing and research capabilities.Ability to effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.Solid organizational and time-management skills.Proven ability to take initiative and manage a challenging workload.Familiarity with employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.Established networking and marketing skills (preferred).This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic practice with room for growth and professional development.#J-18808-Ljbffr
