Our client, a mid-sized law firm emphasizing work/life balance, collegiality, and philanthropy, seeks a Tax Law Attorney to join its team, either as a Midlevel/ Senior Associate Attorney or Counsel level Attorney. The firm is comprised largely of BigLaw expats (Wilson Sonsini, Manatt, Nixon Peabody, Quinn Emanuel) interested in joining a platform that offers more work/life balance, opportunity for growth, and purpose-driven work.

The firm offers flexible hybrid work arrangements, low billable hours (1650 client billable hours, 1800 total; 150 hours may be fulfilled through a combination of pro bono work, community service, and professional development). The successful candidate will support a diverse spectrum of highly sophisticated clients, including startups, early-stage companies, tech companies, and major corporations. Experience with federal, state, and local tax matters is desired, alongside experience in M&A. Base compensation is $210-300k, DOE.
