Clayton Services is searching for a Speech Language Pathologist to join a thriving company in the Greater Houston area. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for for providing speech therapy services, assessing and treating communication and language disorders.
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $75,000 - $85,000

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
- Administer diagnostic tests and provide individualized treatment to children with a variety of communication and feeding disorders
- Participate in the design and implementation of therapy programs addressing speech/language, voice and feeding problems for a diversified patient population
- Document patient's progress and maintain accurate electronic records
- Interpret findings and treatment to patient's families, physicians, dentists, behavior analysts and other concerned parties
- Treat a variety if areas including speech, language, feeding, oral function, myofunctional therapies
- Advise physicians/dentists of test results and subsequently recommend and implement appropriate treatments
- Review data and adjust program accordingly to improve effectiveness
- Meet client needs and determine further courses of treatment or intervention that may be necessary
- Opportunity to treat Adult patients and/or pediatric patients
- Write reports on diagnostic findings, therapy used and progress made
- Collaborate with physicians when altering treatment program
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local requirements
- Keep current on development in the field of speech therapy by attending professional seminars and workshops
- Other duties as assigned
Speech Language Pathologist Skills and Abilities:
- Speech Therapy and Speech skills
- Experience with Dysphagia assessment and treatment
- Knowledge of Communication and Language Disorders
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong observation and analytical skills
Speech Language Pathologist Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
