We're a dynamic marketing agency made up of strategists, creatives, designers, and talented problem solvers—and we're expanding our team! We're searching for someone eager to learn new skills, capable of managing large projects in collaboration with a team, and ready to dive into the exciting world of experiential, content, social, and digital marketing at Factory 360.


We’re currently seeking a multi-disciplinary FREELANCE TO PERM Senior Art Director with a strategic mindset and a strong design eye to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for concepting and graphic design for experiential activations for a variety of clients. 50% of this role will be dedicated to our spirits account, while the other 50% will work across all of our clients. As someone who thrives on big ideas and bold creativity, you’ll lead projects from initial concept to design and execution, bringing innovative experiential visions to life.


While location is flexible within the United States, candidates in New York , Miami, Los Angeles, or Chicago are preferred. For those in New York, we offer a flexible NYC office space for team collaboration 2 days a week.


Candidate must have experience in the beer, wine, and/or spirits industries, preferably on-premise.


Candidates who are bilingual in english & spanish are preferred.


KEY SR ART DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead our key spirits account as the lead art director/graphic designer, developing innovative concepts and design assets. 50% of this role's time will be dedicated to this spirits account, with the other 50% dedicated to various client work and RFPs.
  • Craft and lead detailed design concepts and graphic direction through visual, digital and motion design, applicable to both experiential projects, RFPs, as well as digital and print projects.
  • Self-motivated, balancing multiple projects and timelines, with an ability to prioritize when needed.
  • Lead and manage junior graphic designers for optimal output.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally account teams and outside partners, including creative technology partners and print vendors.
  • Participation in project kick-off meetings, leading design review sessions, creative brainstorms, and production meetings
  • Contribute to scalable design systems that perform well in 2D and 3D environments and remain authentic to brand language
  • Work closely with the full project team in handoff between graphic and environmental design, in both large scale and small scale projects
  • Contributing to internal agency branding and design system updates
  • Must be available to travel nationally and internationally for projects as needed, sometimes with short notice.
  • Leading presence for on-site installations, ensuring creative is brought to life successfully, and stepping in to support as a team-player as needed.
  • Experience in leading junior and mid-level design team members and creating learning opportunities for growth
  • Represent the creative team within the NYC & Miami offices, attending conferences, client meetings, new business meetings, and client dinners as needed in order to build repertoire with current and future clients.
  • Help foster and grow morale for a tight-knit design team, ensuring retained talent and happy team-members.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop & After Effects (bonus)
  • Experience in art direction, branding, digital design, microsite design, illustration, experiential design and more.
  • Experience in digital, video editing, and motion graphics is a plus!
  • 5-8 years of experience in an agency setting
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
  • Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a close-knit team!



Salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience and depending on location.
