One of our top clients in the automotive industry is looking for a Purchasing Manager for their Miami Lakes office. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive pay and benefits!


As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the procurement function for our automotive industry operations. Your expertise in procurement and strategic sourcing will directly impact our ability to source high-quality products and services, achieve cost savings, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to meet company objectives and budget goals.

• Negotiate and secure favorable terms and pricing with suppliers while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions and drive cost savings.

• Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.

• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance and support to drive team performance and development.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and logistics to optimize supply chain efficiency and mitigate risks.

•Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to address purchasing needs and resolve issues proactively.

•Demonstrate leadership and decision-making skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and policies.


Requirements

•Proven experience in leading vendor management activities, including establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage inventory effectively to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shortages.

• Experience overseeing the procurement process of all automotive parts and materials, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control.

•Strong skills in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successfully securing favorable contracts and terms with suppliers.

•Ability to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services, monitoring and addressing any delays or quality issues.

•Proven track record of optimizing costs and driving efficiencies in the procurement process while maintaining quality standards.

•Experience in implementing and improving procurement strategies and processes to enhance overall supply chain performance.

• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
