Job Description:

• facilitates the sourcing process for assigned commodities and projects, including assisting in project assessment, evaluating supplier capabilities, and negotiating contracts to achieve financial and quality objectives.
• Develops, implements, and manages contracts, contract extensions, and amendments and may develop metrics to ensure compliance with agreements, contracts, and other operational partnering efforts.
• Develops sourcing strategies and facilitates the sourcing process for assigned commodities and projects, including assisting in project assessment, evaluating supplier capabilities, developing RFx’s and negotiating contracts to achieve financial, legal and quality objectives.

Qualifications:

• Experience with vendor oversight, including performance management and continuous improvement.
• Track record of sustaining strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Analytical competence (e.g., cost/benefit analyses).
• Strong team building and project management skills.
