C2’s Client, an evolving yet well-established advertising agency with a proud history of client satisfaction, is searching for a Digital Marketing Leader to spearhead and manage paid media and digital advertising initiatives. Duration: Full-time, Direct Hire

Location: Hybrid in Milwaukee, WI (3 days/week onsite at their fabulous Walker’s Point office)

Compensation: Competitive, negotiable, commensurate with experience and skills

Job Description:


Strategic & Tactical Management

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across paid search, paid social, programmatic, streaming media, and more
  • Collaborate with internal teams (and occasionally manage independent contractors) to execute campaigns efficiently
  • Combine marketing and media plans into cohesive, integrated strategies that deliver strong ROI


Hands-On Execution

  • Spend a portion of your time directly executing revenue-generating tasks: campaign setups, optimizations, and reporting
  • Lead all aspects of search engine marketing (SEM), paid social, email marketing, directory work, and more
  • Stay current with digital ad tech trends (e.g., YouTube, Spotify, OTT/streaming platforms), bringing fresh ideas to the table


Reporting & Optimization

  • Own analytics, ensuring clear, impactful reporting that highlights value to clients
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for optimization, and adjust campaign tactics as needed
  • Present compelling post-campaign analyses that tie results back to client objectives and business goals


Collaboration & Client Education

  • Partner closely with agency colleagues and communicate strategy and execution details to clients—sometimes educating them on channels you may not personally manage
  • Lead or participate in client meetings, confidently discussing performance data, insights, and recommendations
  • Ensure alignment with creative, branding, and strategic objectives across all digital touch points


Qualifications:


Digital Marketing Expertise

  • Proven success with paid social (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), paid search (Google Ads, Bing), programmatic, and streaming media (Spotify, OTT)
  • Ability to “wear multiple hats” in a small agency setting, actively driving projects to completion


Analytical & Reporting Chops

  • Skilled in measuring and communicating campaign performance in a way that wins client confidence and repeat business
  • Proficient with digital analytics and reporting tools, and able to tie results to client ROI


Organized & Process-Driven

  • Track record of building workflows and processes that enhance efficiency—particularly important in a nimble agency environment
  • Comfortable juggling multiple clients and campaigns while staying on schedule and on budget


Collaborative & Flexible

  • Strong communication skills; can work effectively with the internal team, independent contractors, and clients
  • Able to pivot quickly as client needs or market conditions change, all while maintaining a calm, solution-focused mindset
